Gays, Lesbians and Bisexuals

During a PAGFA Audition at the Student Lounge, one applicant was asked by Gabriel, “Ate, single?” she proudly answered, “Lesbian ako.”

I smiled upon hearing and seeing the reaction on her face. She was really proud and she really answered honestly. The girl was pretty, dressed like a real lady and had no signs of masculinity in her body. Christine interviewed her and had a little announcement about their little chit-chat. “Bifem sya, pero yung partner nya ay straight girl.” I butted in and told Tin, as we fondly call her, that once a person enters into a gay relationship, the person is gay, period. She agreed even if she was still so fascinated about the event that occurred.

This only shows that there are people who can’t accept the fact that same sex relationship is rampant and really do exists. I know a lot of people who are bisexuals but chose not to expose themselves because they don’t want to be judge by people like Tin who had the ‘tone’ when she told everyone the little news about the applicant. I know that seeing a guy hold a hand of another guy is a bit off. I know that a girl kissing another girl is jaw dropping. But I also know that nobody can tell anybody what to do, think or feel. No one can ever dictate us.

So, MABUHAY ANG MGA BADETTE, TIBASH at lahat ng miyembro ng IKATLONG KASARIAN…woohoo!
